We have been once to Capitol Reef and will be heading back this year. We went middle of October. The weather was still warm. We loved it. There are a variety of hikes for all different levels of skill, age, health. The park holds both a geen side and a desert side to it. I thought of it kind of like Zions and Aches put together.
