This is a fun one. You can hike to the cave opening, I believe it is about a mile, and then take a tour of the cave. During the tour you will get to experience complete darkness, and you will get to see the Heart of the mountain. Beautiful! Just be sure to purchase tickets before you hike up as they are not available at the top.

We had so much fun on our visit last week! It's autumn and the leaves were gorgeous. The cave was lovely as usual! I love the helictites. . . how do they grow sideways and up like that?

An amazing hike and lots of cool things to see in the cave. I haven't been for years but each time I have gone I have enjoyed the hike and being inside the cave.
