Zion National Park

Info

Massive canyon walls ascend toward a brilliant blue sky. To experience Zion, you need to walk among the towering cliffs, or challenge your courage in a small narrow canyon. These unique sandstone cliffs range in color from cream, to pink, to red. They could be described as sand castles crowning desert canyons.

We stopped by Zion on a road trip from AZ back to Ogden. My regret is that we didn't spend more time here, the colors were just amazing. Traveling with a toddler here was difficult, next time we will go in the fall when it's cooler and bring a kid backpack carrier so we can get deeper into the canyons. The main roads thru the park have nice scenic points. We packed lunches and enjoyed the views!
