Ogden Hot Springs

Info

These hot springs are right off the road as you head up Ogden Canyon. In the colder months, the steam from the springs is noticeable. The water is very hot and it's a good idea to bring a bucket so you can scoop water from the river to cool it down if it gets too hot. The water temperature is around 135°F/57°C

Directions:
From exit 344 on I-15, head east onto 12th Ave. In approx 5 miles you will start up Ogden Canyon. Just after you go under the overhead water pipe, the spring will be noticeable on the sound side of the canyon; right next to the river. Right after you cross over the river, there will be a parking area on the right, just across from the waterfall. The trail is right there at the beginning of the parking area and follows the river down to the spring. Be careful in winter because it can be icy.
