The controversy surrounding the construction of the Glen Canyon Dam and Lake Powell is often cited as the beginning of the modern-day environmental movement.

Inlet Hot Springs

Info

These springs are located near the town of Saratoga Springs by the north end of Utah Lake. The large spring is the main one and feeds the other 2 springs. The city has made a nice path to the springs and also provided a trash can to help keep the area clean.

Directions:
From I-15, take exit 278 for Main Street in American Fork. Head west along Pioneer Crossing for 3.6 miles. Turn left on 9550 West and follow it for .9 miles where it becomes Saratoga Rd. Continue for .9 miles and turn left into the parking lot. This will be the south-most parking lot at Inlet Park. Follow the paved trail south toward the trees. When the trail forks, take either fork since they combine to make a loop. After they combine, keep following the trail right to the springs.
